FAQ

Question: Your First Aid / CPR and BLS Courses say "Part 2".  Where do I find Part 1?

Answer:  The link to Part 1 is found in the course description for each course.  We also will email you a course confirmation letter and that link is also contained in that email.  Frequently we send out a reminder the day before a class with the information as well.   It is YOUR responsibility to complete the online course BEFORE you arrive for your in person classroom session, AKA: Part 2.

Question:  What happens if I do not complete "Part 1" - the prerequisite online class - before I show up for my Part 2: Skills Practical Session?

Answer: If you do not complete the prerequisites to a class you will not be allowed to attend the in person / classroom portion of the course.  It is YOUR responsibility to complete the prerequisites to the course.  NO REFUNDS will be given if you do not complete the prerequisites.

Question:  What happens if I have difficulty with my online course?  Who should I contact?

Answer: For American Red Cross online classes - FIRST try these things:  Make sure you are using a computer and a chrome browser.  Do a fresh reboot.  Reset your Red Cross password.  If that does not work, please contact the American Red Cross at 1-800 RED CROSS.  DO NOT wait until the last minute to take your online class.  The Red Cross support team is available M - Sat, but not on Sunday.

Question:  What happens is I am running late for my in person class?

Answer:  Please arrive on time or a bit early for your classes.  If you arrive more than 10 min late you will be denied entrance to the class.  It is not fair to the other students or our staff.  No refunds are given for late arrivals.

Question:   What should I wear to CPR class?

Answer: You will be working on the floor with manikins.  Please wear comfortable clothes appropriate for a practical session.
