Luke's Bio

 

  

Luke L. Fabiunke was raised in Bernards Township, New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. In June 2000 he entered the Marine Corps and throughout the ensuing years served in various locations overseas and in the United States. Luke was a Communications Officer, Strategic Planner, and Regional Affairs Officer/Security Cooperation Officer. He retired in 2020 following his final tour at the U.S. Embassy in Luanda, Angola. Luke has Masters’ Degrees in International Relations, Regional Affairs (Sub-Saharan Africa), and Weapons of Mass Destruction. He currently works for National Safety Training Center as the Operations Officer and Instructor/Trainer. During the off-season, he serves with Samaritan’s Purse on their Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART); over the last two years he supported medical/humanitarian aid operations in Kosovo, Albania, Haiti, Ukraine and Turkey. Luke is an American Red Cross Instructor Trainer in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, babysitting and an instructor for Water Safety. He recently completed his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training.
